We send our sympathy to your entire family. The hardest part of living and loving is losing our loved ones. Denny was a very special man and he certainly was a great friend. He had a kind heart and the best outlook in life. He was full of passion and enjoyed life to the fullest. It has been heartbreaking to watch this horrible illness progress. I truly believe he is in a better place now. He was full of faith and is with his Lord now. May it help to know others are thinking and praying for you all at this difficult time. Love, Julie Lutton

Denny was a gentle soul with a gentle smile that was one of his great attributes that accompanied his every pursuit. He became my big brother explaining why something was and then gave me a great perspective and attitude to go be at peace with it. He put my first lyric to music and Shine was created. Denny had great emotion for those around him and the same passion for pursuing his interests. We are better to have known that smile and personal embrace of his

As a new nurse to the operating room, I remember Dennis was always supportive and helpful. He was so kind. About 10-15 years ago, I purchased one of his pastels at the Broadripple Art Fair. It hangs on my office to this day and is one of my favorite possessions. He was highly thought of in life and will be remembered fondly. My thoughts are with you, his family, during this difficult time.

I am so sorry for your loss. I learned about it last week while having breakfast with several retired Community East Surgery friends. We had great memories and stories to tell. I enjoyed working with Dennis during his time in surgery. I was there from 1974 to 1996. I still have a T-shirt from the mid 90’s with one of his art works on it. He will be missed. Sincerely, Daneisa Lain
